We stayed here with our three young children. The rooms were clean and suited our needs. There is a great free breakfast you will definitely want to take advantage of and the complimentary drinks in the evening. Our only complaints were that the swimming pool area was extremely slick and that they do not offer free internet access. Overall though it was a good hotel.

  • Liked — Great breakfast, good location
  • Disliked — Swimming area, rooms were on the pricey side

Urg.
What a nightmare.
First off, they have the worst selection of TV channels ever...there are only, like, 10 and they are GRAINY. Also, there is no free Internet. You have to PAY FOR WIRELESS ACCESS.
Not that bad, yet.

In the morning, we got up to go to get a complimentary breakfast at 9:45. The times for breakfast were not posted anywhere and were not told by anyone when it was. We thought it would be until 10, like most hotel chains. However, when we got there, there was nothing. The staff was cleaning up. We asked when breakfast was over and the staff cleaning the place said "Right now". Not any specific time.
They also did not open until lunch until after 11:00. No one offered to get us a cup of coffee or a piece of fruit or cereal or anything.
We went to the front desk and asked where we could get a cup of coffee. They said Starbucks...and that the hotel shuttle could take us there. We told them about how we were a family, so it took us awhile to get started in the morning and that we were not going to Starbucks just for a cup of coffee. When we asked when breakfast was, they said it was "over".
They also didn't offer any help.
Terrible Customer Service.
Especially for $200 a night.
What a ripoff.
I will not stay at this property EVER AGAIN and I WARN YOU AWAY FROM IT.
Stay at a Hampton Inn or something. They have free wireless, better TV, and an excellent complimentary breakfast for half the cost.
I would have if they weren't full in the Cary area.

Great service and nice setting but…. A major refurbishment is needed of both soft and hard goods. Avoid the weekends if you want piece and quite!

This hotel truly needs some loving care. A great hotel but the rooms smell kind of funky and there are lots of crumbs and dust. Good staff and service but bad breakfasts.

Watch out for weekend groups such as: 50 soccer kids and their soccer parents, or the “Smith Family Reunion.” Embassy Suites’ atrium layout allows for these groups to take over the whole hotel! You’re guaranteed not to sleep on the pull out sofa not only because the mattress is cardboard but also the noise from the atrium is horrendous.

  • Liked — Suites with lots of room.
  • Disliked — Bad smell and not very clean.

I stayed here the last week of April for a wedding. The room was clean and comfortable. Very nice bed, great amenities, and excellent cooked-
to-order breakfasts. Good location-close to airport, very good cheesesteak diner across the street (up the hill).

  • Liked — Bed, breakfast, free parking
  • Disliked — Not much within walking distance

My company recently hosted an evening reception at this hotel for local doctors in the area. The food was absolutely horrible! We received several complaints from doctors in the audience regarding the poor quality of food. I was there personally and found the food to be of the lowest quality. It was embarrassing to say the least. To make matters worse, the hotel refused to do anything about it. They wouldn't even credit us back a simple $400 charge for renting the room to make up for the complete dissatisfaction.

If you are with a professional organization looking for a place in the area to host an event - be forewarned - the hotel isn't that nice, the food is horrible and the lack of attention to customer satisfaction and quality is way below industry standards.
