We celebrated our anniversay with a weekend away at Carolina Beach. For our anniversary dinner I was looking for more of an upscale fee l since it seems most of the places around were casual (we'd never been to carolina beach before) and came across Havanas. We made a reservation but I doubt we would have needed one... it was busy but it didn't look like they had a long wait when we arrived. The sat us in a small enclave upsatairs so we were completely alone. This was nice in that we were secluded but it was also a drawback b/c we couldn't really take in the atmosphere of the restaurant. We had calamari for an appetizer and we ordered salmon and lobster ravioli for our entrees. The food was decent, but I have definitely had better at other restaurants... especially for the price. I would say it was about average in quality. Also, the cocktails were on the pricey side considering the size! The staff was great and the service was good. Our waitress responded to all of our requests quickly and ensured we were taken care of. If I was to go back to carolina beach, I would consider going back to Havanas but would definetly research my options first.
