After reading other reviews, we decided to try Boundary House, and went early (5:30). We were told there was a 15 minute wait, and they took us within that time. It was very crowded even at that time - but it is summer in the Grand Strand, after all! Our server was quick, and brought us our drinks promptly. She told us the specials, but did not really offer any other suggestions about the menu - the menu is surprisingly simple, not a vast one, but it had typical seafood choices, and also some chicken, beef, and pasta. It also had a few burgers and sandwiches for those who don't want a full meal. You can get the seafood grilled, fried, or broiled, which was nice. The salads were large, and you get a side - I got the 'sweet mashed potatoes,' a specialty of the house, and they were delicious - like Thanksgiving in July - candied sweet potatoes. Mmmm, good! A must try if you like those. All in all, a good visit. One note - the atmosphere is very noisy, not your romantic destination - but it was a good meal. We may go back again, maybe in the fall when it might be less crowded!
