First off, I'll admit I'm a little spoiled in having stayed at some very nice cabins previously. With that, I will be objective and try to provide the Pros and Cons of our recent stay at Peggy's Peace.
Pros - Tee was very nice in the overall process of booking and such. The cabin itself was fine, kitchen provided for long stay, washer and dryer are handy and each of the two bedrooms has its own bathroom. Has a homey and cabin feel to it with some seclusion and the hot tub is a welcome relaxer. The location is only minutes from downtown Bryson City and a stone's throw from GSMNP.
Cons - Two of my biggest gripes by far are 1) The pictures posted on the angel cabins website and 2) the gravel road to get there. Let me expand....it's a little misleading to have pictures posted on the website that are clearly years old, 10, maybe 15 years old. I say misleading because, for example, the views of the mountains are different than that of those in the picture. Granted we were there in the summer with full foliage but the pines trees and other bushes, vines and other growth obscure most of the view. The pictures posted have the pined trees at about half to 1/3 the size they are now. A few other pictures of the cabin must have been taken when the cabin was first built. The outside looks brand new, the inside with different wall color and furniture.
The gravel road to get to the cabin passes by the Folkestone Inn as well as a barn and someone elses home. It is a one lane gravel road with pot holes galore and it is shared by Inn visitors, other cabin renters and the owner of the home. The homeowner nearly ran into us when we were returning back to our cabin one evening. It'd be nice to have that paved and widened.
My suggestion would be to update the pictures so that they reflect what the cabin looks like now. I realize that you want to put your best foot forward and show the cabin in the best light possible but it is a slight bit misrepresented when some of the pictures posted on the website are 10-15 years old or older.
