We went to the Falls Landing after it was recommended by a local resident. Seafood is a specialty, and the restaurant is celebrating its 20th anniversary. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and seated immediately. The chairs, walls and floor are hard, so it gets noisy when the restaurant is full and is not as relaxing or conducive to talk as it could be. However, the food is excellent (we had the lamb chops, trout, and the mahi, and people at an adjacent table raved about the fried cod). The owner was behind the bar and made sure everyone was happy with their choices. The bread was an interesting sourdough, and the wine list had a suitable range. Our waitress was clearly experienced and well-trained and never made us feel rushed. Their website is down as of this writing, and their Facebook page is not very active. This makes it hard to plan in advance and make sure everyone will have a satisfactory choice. Yet, the menu is varied enough that I think you could safely take a crowd and everyone could find a menu item of interest.
