“Excellent Christmas Show and Light Display”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2012

Loved the food and then the entertainment followed by a hayride throught the most spectacular display of Christmas lights that had a winter wonderland display with real snow falling on us with a finale of patrotric display with the group reciting the Pledge of Allegience....excellent way to get into the Christmas Spirit...

“Good food, but hard to get in”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2012

The food is great family style, homemade, country cooking. Unfortunately, everytime I have been there has been a long wait. In the fall and between Thanksgiving and Christmas when the hayrides are going, forget about it on the weekends. They do not accept reservations, unless you buy a package (show, hayride, and dinner) which is pretty expensive, and the wait is 4-6 hours if you just get in line. It is a very popular place with the locals, so weekends are busy year-round. I recommend you go between January and August, and if it is cold make sure you wrap up good because you may still have to wait for a table.

“Awesome Country Cookin' & Kid Friendly”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2012

We have eaten at Mike's Farm many times over the years. We have always had excellent service and great food. It's 'family style", no menu. You get homemade country ham biscuits to start and sweet tea in mason jars.
You get country fried chicken, pork tenderlion, mashed potatoes, awesome mac n cheese, string beans, and fresh desserts, and it's "all you can eat."
If you go during October thru December there is always holiday activities, hay rides, christmas light show, pumpkin patch, christmas tree farm, and a petting zoo..A great place to spend the afternoon with the family.. Get there early it's usually packed whenever you go!!!

5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2012

The food is out of this world and plenty of it all desserts are home made everything is included in the price of the meal no extra for something to drink and all you want to eat or drink (no alchol) I have been to all of the resturants in jacksonville and cannot come out without paying an exorbant price I think I'll stick with Mikes......

“Down home cooking and lots of charm”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2012

If you plan on going to Mike's, I'd recommend skipping lunch that day ;) The food is served family style and they will bring you as much as you can eat. The biscuits are first, very tasty and there are some in the basket with country ham slices in them. I could fill up on just those. Then they bring you fried chicken, pork tenderloin, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and a vegetable. It is all delicious. I could eat my body weight in Mac and Cheese, but I don't because I know that the dessert is incredible too. There is always something yummy on the dessert cart. Everything is scratch made and the sweet tea never runs out. You can't go wrong here.
