“Great little B&B”

Staff very easy to talk to and very helpful. Owners are lucky to have those three doing everything!!. Suite was well done, comfy and roomy. A blanket or throw would be a nice touch for cool evenings. Best location in Beaufort. Now - the gem is the restaurant. Excellent, excellent and excellent. Don't miss this charming dining room with a mouth-watering menu. Stay, eat and enjoy!

Room Tip: Front suite on second floor, behind the top porch. Great value, large with separate bedroom.

Been to Beaufort lots of times but just discovered this restaurant. The food is awesome! Great service. It is a small place with just a few tables so you are in your neighbor's conversation. You must make reservations. This is a cozy restaurant and would not be good for kids. Had the grouper plate-yum. Best scallops I've ever had. We will be back next time we are in the area. We did not stay at the Inn.

We were debating on this vs. another Beaufort restaurant and SO GLAD we chose this one. From the tomato/crab/shrimp bisque soup, the chopped salad, the out-of-this-world scallops/shrimp over polenta, down to the key lime tart...wow! Delicious! Kudos to the couple who handle it all! Will be telling all we know to go there for that special night out.

We were trying to find some place to stay about 10 hours from home. Started browsing and came across The Cedars Inn & Restaurant. We stayed in one of the suites and had a great time. We could come and go as we pleased and each morning a complimentary pastry and hot tea was waiting for us in the dining room. Comfortable beds and the shower was great. We will stay here again when needing to refresh for the weekend. It's a quiet town with plenty of history. Nice place to relax and unwind for a few days.

Room Tip: We booked a suite in the front and loved it.

I had a wonderful time in Beaufort with my friends. Cedar Inn is truly wonderful, the decor, the service, the cleanliness, really comfortable, great location and wonderful people.
I must say the restaurant was excellent! Coming from an Italian that really means something!
I will definitely go back and will recommend it to my Italian friends.
Thank you Cedar Inn.

We spent a relaxing two nights at The Cedars Inn. It's freshly painted in soft blue and soft greens. Absolutely beautiful! Each night we were treated to a nice glass of wine which we enjoyed on the upper porch. Jenn, the inkeeper, is so sweet. In the morning we had tea, coffee, yogurt, fruit and homemade blueberry muffins. Beaufort is the most charming town! We took a ferry to Shakleford Island to see the horses and collected beautiful shells! We ate a fabulous dinner at the Blue Moon Bistro. At Finns on the water we split a crab cake meal, I had a fancy island drink :-) and Greg had a bear. Fun!
The only drawback of the entire weekend was that The Cedars Inn has a restuarant on the lower level so there is no inside area in which to relax except the porches or in our room and it was difficult to sleep because the loud dinner guests were eating late directly under our bedroom.

We spent our wedding night at the Cedars 23 years ago and our 3rd stay was the best. Jenn and Steve worked from from our arrival to make our visit relaxed and enjoyable. Our room was attractive, well appointed and comfortable. We spent the afternoon on the second floor porch eating snacks and enjoying a little wine while watching folks stroll by. We had dinner at the Inn and it was one of the best meals we have had in a while. We spilt our entree and the portions were generous and tasty. Breakfast was great...yogurt, granola, patries, coffee and juice. In all a great experience and would do it all again tomorrow.
