This was a delightful historic home set in a peaceful valley. When we arrived we were pleased that we had been upgraded and were allowed to choose the room we desired. The room had a microfridge stocked with water and sodas. Our bed was comfy with soft sheets and we had a private bath stocked with amenities that you may have forgotton at home. Our host recommended a local restaurant and provided a menu which looked so good we took up her offer to make dinner reservations. The huge front porch has inviting rockers and a swing. There are lovely flower gardens to view also. Coffee was waiting for us in the morning. Our breakfast was served in a beautiful dining room overlooking the flower garden. There was fresh cream oatmeal with a poached apple. This was followed by eggs, toast, juices, fruit, tomato and a bacon wrapped sausage burger. The valley is very peaceful and the home so lovely we didn't want to leave. The only con is that the home is just off Hwy 194. It has become quite a busy little highway so the sound of passing cars even at 2 a.m. was disruptive. I'm used to living in the country so it probably wouldn't bother a city person.
