I almost don't want to write too much about this place, it's one of those hole in the wall kind of establishments that locals adore and tell only their friends about as it is just too small to accommodate hordes of foodies. That being said, if you are a fan of food from Thailand the trip to Woodside will reward you with food that is the real deal and not something that has been watered down for tame American taste buds. Pungent, spicy, aromatic and at the same time nuanced and subtle, my only complaint (and I'm being very picky here) is that sometimes the chef could use a lighter hand with the fried seafood. On the positive side you simply cannot go wrong with any of the appetizers or soups, they're so good I've made meals out of three or four appetizers and a soup and been in heaven. It's BYOB so that's a plus and the restaurant even has a small grocery section by the entrance so if you love the food you can buy the ingredients and try to recreate your meal at home. Enjoy, but just don't tell too many people about it!
