Service was way above average - however, it was a bit rushed for valentine's day. I didn't feel they were tyring to get us out but the food came a bit too quickly in between courses. I think the pace of service would be fine for a normal everyday evening but for valentine's - better to be a bit slower with things. The table is served with an assortment of pickled items - nice if you like pickled stuff and bread with butter. Butter was hard - Bread was very good. French onion soup was very good - good crust and very flavorful. Just a touch on the salty side. Two dishes were ordered. Filet Mignon and scallops. Both the steak and scallops were cooked perfectly and tasted very good. Mash potatoes and steamed vegies were underseasoned but had good texture. Dessert was a bit of a disaster. The first Skillet Cookie was burnt and the second just did not taste good. I would skip that dessert. Romantic setting. This was very close to five stars but just a few misses that could have been avoided
