The Glen Park Tavern is a cozy, charming tavern in the Williamsville Village. Everyone is always very friendly, from the host, the patrons, to the servers. The ambience is very cool and pub-like - rustic wooden beams, weathered hardwood floors, and period lighting. The food is a bit pricey, but it's very good. It's served with a basket of delicious, fresh bread. Some of my personal favorites are the seafood melt, the asiago encrusted white fish, lobster bisque, haddock francais, and the banana peppers (won an award of sorts to my understanding). Their fish fry is one of my favorites in WNY, a lighter, almost tempura-like batter. I've heard raves about their wings, but have never personally tried them. This is also a great place for happy hour or before dinner drinks.
