“Wonderful hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We had a meeting at the hotel and I also stayed there. The employees were great. Everyone made us feel welcome and they were so helpful.Stephen Bruce the Banquet Manager was so helpful, he made sure all or attendees were taken care of. Danielle Conway our meeting manager made sure we had everything needed for our event. And we cannot forget Urmin who found me the 15 black table skirts I needed . He is a very diligent worker. We are so satisfied we have already booked next years event The restaurant's new menu was great, had dinner and breakfast and food was excellent. I grew up in Westchester and never knew about this hidden gem but I will highly recommend it to all.

The surronding property is really pretty, lots of greenery, many trees, It is really hidden,up a quiet road on a hill and very private. However we were disappointed with the hotel.

The hotel was crowded and we stayed in the annex, which was a very long walk for my husband, who can not walk far.Our bathroom had a noticeable hair ball on the floor and the room smelled musty.Breakfast was good, you had choices, full buffet $24,cold buffet $16 or ala carte.
The bar is small, and friendly, especially Yaribel, whom we enjoyed speaking with in the evening., and Leslie at breakfast, both good ambassadors for the hotel..We probably will not stay there again.

Room Tip: We were on the 6th floor, and had a nice view of the trees and surroundings

This hotel offers an opportunity to enjoy good food and relax. It's tucked away from busy Westchester and white plains. Staff is amazing, from Yaribel in the restaurant to Richard at check in. Concierge offers great dinner options. Rooms are good and a fridge is included. Gym is small but you can jog through the woods instead. Top choice if you are staying in Westchester.

I agree with all the recent positive reviews. We had 4 rooms at this hotel last minute for a funeral in the area. One of the family members is a hotel snob and was dubious about staying here. Well, he was pleasantly surprised. The decor in the lobby and rooms is warm contemporary. New, clean linens and hip decor in the lobby. The brick exterior is nothing exciting, but the wooded suburban location made this a nice haven away from funeral activities. The customer service at the front desk is excellent. We are all former New Yorkers and none of us miss the "NY attitude" you can get at some places -- but there was none of that here. The front desk staff were all approachable, warm, funny and professional. The location is confusing so make sure you have good GPS or get good directions from hotel.

As other reviews have stated, a little hard to navigate to, but a great, tucked away, quiet location in the woods. From the front desk check-in which was quick and thorough, to the modern décor of the bar/restaurant, to the comfort of the rooms..everything about the hotel itself was very rewarding. However, when you have a fire alarm go off at 11:30pm, and you have 100 weary-eyed and slightly peeved guests, one might want to send management out to inform them about what is happening..didn't see or hear anyone from the hotel during this..we went back in as soon as the firemen left the building..

Room Tip: Choosing the 'woods' or parking lot side of the hotel may be a bit quieter than facing the m...

This property was a nice surprise - very wooded and secluded hotel right off the highway. It has a hip-modern lobby. The restaurant was very good. The chef uses local, fresh ingredients and everything was surprisingly good. Prices are no surprise for New York. The concierge lounge is okay - not a very easy layout, and food for breakfast was picked over & the eggs were runny each day. All staff were very nice. I took Red Dot transportation and it was $58 from LGA. However, I did wait 45 minutes for them ... I would have rather spent the extra $40 for a cab.

Room Tip: I don't believe there is a bad room - both sides overlook woods.

This was my first trip to this part of NY and I didn't know what to expect. My colleague and I were on a business trip attending a conference at this hotel. It was a three night stay, but should have been four but they were sold out the last night. The receptionist was very nice when we checked in. The lobby/restaurant area was modern and had a hip vibe. You had to cross an indoor bridge to get to the rooms. The room was comfortable and we had no complaints, although some other conference attendees expressed their displeasure with their rooms, mostly plumbing issues. Because the hotel is in a more secluded woodsy area with only industries nearby, you had to have a car or hire a cab to take you anywhere. Since we didn't have a car, we ate at the hotel two of the three nights and had breakfast each morning. Although pricey, the food was decent. The breakfast buffet was very good with a nice selection of hot and cold food. I might have given this hotel four stars had it not been for the fact that we didn't get the conference rate for the first night of the stay (which we were told we would get by the conference organizer) and we had to switch hotels the last night because they told us they were booked up (another attendee was able to keep her room another night). Overall, it was more like 3 1/2 stars.
