My wife and I stopped in for lunch while doing some shopping in White Plains this week. I thought it had an appealing foyer and the interior looked interesting, some block wall art that was a replica of the roman aquaducts, some other interesting artifacts too. Well, that's it for the good news. No one greeted us when we arrived, the waiter seated us. We had simple things, meatball parmigiana and eggplant parmigiana entrees. The meatballs tasted like they had a lot of fillers an the portion was very stingy. The eggplant parmigiana entrée was a little better, but nothing great. The salad was OK, nothing great. The waitstaff was foreign, not too quick and rather impersonal. Not that it was a bad experience, but you can go to Francesco's Ristorante down the road and get a great meal and get friendly family service. I would not go back. Maybe for a business lunch this might do, but make sure you have a full hour!
