“Great hotel, great location, great value!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2012

The Hyatt House is a hidden gem in White Plains. Conveniently located on Westchester Ave, but sufficiently set-back from the road and I-287, the Hyatt House is a great place for business or pleasure. The hotel is relatively new and the rooms are smartly furnished. The lobby lounge serves breakfast and afternoon "social" hour and is a great extension of your hotel room to stretch out in front of the fire, read a book or do some work. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and while there aren't any convenience stores or restaurants within walking distance, the hotel's market provides enough offerings to satisfy short-term. Highly recommended!!!

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the back of the hotel. Higher floors will avoid car lights shining through the wi...

The HH isn't neccessarily the fanciest place in town, but its new, fresh, well maintained, spotless and the staff is wonderful.
Perfect hotel for a business trip or family trip and will definetly stay there again when we come back.
Bravo, good job all around.

I spent three days at the Hyatt House during a business trip in White Plains. It was like a home away from home. The staff is friendly and accomodating. The hotel shuttle driver took me to my business appointments as well as to dinner and shopping in the evenings. The hotel is not far from an upscale mall! The room was clean and modern with a full kitchen, living area, bedroom with adjoininng full bathroom, and two flat screen tv's. In addition to all this, the hotel offers free full breakfast and dinner with beverages four days a week. Free wifi and laundry room too! I will definitely return to this hotel if I am in White Plains again!

We stayed at HH when our house lost power due to Hurricane Sandy and we could not be more grateful to the staff at this hotel for making us TRULY feel at HOME! The sales manager Kate went above and beyond the call of duty when we needed to extend our stay and the staff across the board could not have been nicer. When Halloween was clearly cancelled due to the storm they quickly put together a "trick or treat" program in the hotel to allow all the kids displaced there to do an impromptu round of candy collecting. All I can say is WOW!

The hotel itself is very nice, we had a 1 bedroom suite which had a small kitchen with full size appliances. Kids slept on the sofabed (they loved it) and our king bed was VERY comfortable. The room was very clean, the bathroom was spacious and there was plenty of closet space for all of our stuff. Free breakfast and pm reception were great, so much better than the usual "free food" offerings at other hotels.

All in we could not have been happier, except when our power came back on 5 days later of course!!

5 stars are not enough!

I stayed here on a recent trip to White Plains, and found the hotel to be very nice, clean, and spacious. The hot breakfast buffet had numerous choices and was delicious and satisfying. I would definitely stay there again.

I recently stayed at the house while on a relief deployment for Hurricane Sandy. The hotel was working under the twin burden of local folks forced out of their homes by the hurricane and the simultaneous influx of large numbers of relief workers. The hotel staff was magnificent. They killed themselves to make sure that customers had what they needed, the place was kept clean, rooms were promptly allocated, and sufficient food, etc., was provided for the morning buffet.

I was really impressed with the property itself also. The rooms are suites with kitchens and separate bedrooms. They have tv's in the living room and bedroom and the the rooms ae very quiet and comfortable.
