“Fantastic Innkeeper, working hard to upgrade the great property”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2014

Sam, the Innkeeper made us feel very welcome, and while parts of the Inn are still being renovated, the bedroom/bathroom was excellent, with full Cable/Satellite TV and Full Wireless Internet making it very accommodating. Sam and his family were extremely friendly with our small dog, and the breakfast was excellent. Sam also made sure to offer afternoon/evening beverage service, and was very gracious when we used the dining room with our evening pizza! I look forward to returning in a year or so to see the progress!.

I'm not usually a B&B type of person, but my reluctance was left at the door. We were instantly greeted and given a warm welcome, and were even offered to switch rooms to be closer to our friends. The inn was beautiful and clean, and breakfast was delicious. This experience far-exceeded my expectations, and I would happily return for another visit. A great find for sure!

The boyfriend and I stayed here on a gift from his daughter for Fathers Day. We didnt think we would like a B&B but the friendly owner Sammy changed all that for us. Some parts of the place were under construction but we didnt mind. The room as we expected was small, but cozy and very clean. The breakfast pizza the next morning was out of this world and we wish we had got there early to get the whole plate but since they apparently ran out, we also got a generous helping of scrambled eggs and some tasty home-fries--so we got to try more. I would recommend asking the customer if they want a whole plate of that or the eggs because two other couples left quite a bit of their pizza--which would have left more for us if they too had been given a smaller piece plus eggs! Sam is a very interesting fellow and the short time we were there got enough of the story of his life travels that we wished we had got in earlier the night before to sit and chat. BIg plus we heard that other B&B owners complained to him that his prices were too low, but he is an honest upright businessman who is ot petty and believes in "live and let live" and we are SO glad we didnt stay at one of 2 other B&B's owned by a guy we affectionately refer to as the "antique nazi". But that's another story and we'd bet money this pompous phd was the one who complained about prices because he told us all about people moving here from Scotsdale etc. Anyway, if you have to stay at a B&B in this area, I highly recommend the Wm Seward just because of the friendly happy owner.
