This a simple, no frills eatery. Paper towel dispenser on the table tells you that as soon as you see it. It is very noisy. There is nothing elegant about it. You go for the BBQ. It is reasonably priced, with huge trays for two to share for about $37. There are also individual dishes to order.
We had never been here before and went with friends. My husband does not love bbq chicken, but he really loved it here! I am the rib-girl and happily had them all to myself in the shared platter! That gets you half a chicken, half a rack of ribs (6 ribs with $3 extra for baby backs), two ears of corn cut into halves, two sweet corn muffins, French fries or mashed potatoes, coleslaw, baked beans, and either pulled pork or brisket. A lot of food and not the most healthy food but very Tasty. The ribs were meaty and falling off the bone tender, and not at all fatty. There are six sauces on the table to choose from, ranging from sweet to very hot if you want extra sauce.
It is very popular here and there could be long waits.
