What a charming gem nestled in the rolling hills covered with a blanket of swaying trees with stained glass leaves. That was just when we pulled up. We were greeted by fluffy, happily rescued goats on the hill and most possibly, the nicest couple I've ever met. They took my bags and ushered me into the great room which was only trumped by it's roaring fire in the stone fireplace. Glass of wine in hand, I was taken to my room. It was the Lily pad room-complete with a jacuzzi tub for 2 and a bay window that overlooked the beautiful landscape. After a hike around the 85 acres of wooded wonderland, I slept like a baby....only to wake with a vegan breakfast...that was nothing short of spectacular. Homemade buckwheat pancakes, fresh fruit, and country potatoes. I didn't need to eat till 4! whether I was holed up in one of their overstuffed couches, or out on the trails, this has become a second home. If they allowed 10 stars...that's what you would see. Make sure you put this place on your bucket list.
they are all adorable, but if you want to go all out, do the lily pad room-you can always take a bat...
