Description: The Hudson Water Club sits within a beautiful waterside setting, against sweeping views of the Hudson River. Inside, snazzy terrazzo tile, vaulted ceilings, and floor to ceiling windows make for tremendous use of the natural views of the river. The restaurant's cuisine is Contemporary American with a strong emphasis on seafood designed by our CIA trained Executive Chef Michael Dobias. Chef Dobias focuses on local ingredients and strives to feature seasonal items at their peak of freshness. Our diverse menus combine classic favorites with modern twists to be savored in surroundings of breath-taking river views and exceptional service and hospitality.

“View, ambiance and wonderful attention to detail”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

My non-profit held its annual event here - 100+ people. Raves all around from everyone. The food, the view, the attention that Monica and her staff gave were second to none. I've also come here with friends. While a bit pricey, it is well worth the trip! Drinks are top shelf and the margaritas can't be beat. Portions and generous and worth sharing. Pizza is wonderful. We've never felt rushed, and after a hard week of work, it's exactly what you need. The Hudson Water Club is a special treat, on par with some of the better restaurants in Nyack or across the river. If you want dinner with the kids, yes this is a bit expensive, but if you are looking for a relaxing night out, with no rushing from the waiters, and a beautiful view where you can decompress, the Hudson Water Club is the place for you. They took a hit from Sandy but are opening again in April - cannot wait till it reopens!

“Horrible Service”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

September of 2012 we had a wedding at the Water Club. Service was Horrible. Very unorganized. This was a small wedding of 22. We weren't expecting much, but a little time spent on us would have been nice. No tablecloths, tables throw around together, waitress kept hitting the cake table, & manager never stopped by to check on things. Very disappointing.

“Never Disappointed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2012

We have visited this place several times over the past three years. The food is absolutely delicious and the water views are wonderful. The service is usually good, if not great. The live entertainment is usually top notch as well. I highly recommend this restaurant and will go back.

“Perfect Evening, Perfect Spot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2012

This was our first trip back to this restaurant after several years. The food certainly has improved and the menu included a number of great choices. The chef must be new because the food definitely had a more upscale flair and choices were very current with the seasons. There remained simpler choices on the menu for those who did not want to indulge in gourmet choices. Everyone in my group of 6 found satisfaction. I chose the seared diver scallops served over ratatouille risotto with red pepper sauce. I had hoped for some fresh tomatoes in the risotto, but all the other vegetables were there in just the right quantity along with that great creamy texture. A very good choice. There was a nice "by the glass" wine selection to go with dinner. We were all very satisfied and did not sample the desserts. The water views were great on the outdoor dining deck which was decorated with little white lights that came on after the sun went down. Great atmosphere!

“Great Food - Lousy Service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2012

After a couple of visits last summer for drinks and appetizers, decided to go for a full dinner a few week's ago (celebrating my son's birthday). It was fairly early on a Sunday evening, so it was not completely full, and we decided to sit at an outdoor table (because the setting was one of the main deciding factors in choosing this establishment. All of the dishes ordered were very weel done, including the presentation. A seafood tower was exceptional in style, although a bit overpriced for the amount of seafood on the platter. Unfortunately the service at the Hudson Water Club was horrible. with the exception of a few waitstaff that seemed professional and interested in their jobs, most could care less about their customers. The bus people made matters worse be reaching all over the table for plates that were clearly not finished ,and throwing them loudly into a central area behind a bar station (in most cases seemling breaking a good portion of them)...we happen to be seated very close to this area. The best service people were the one's actually bringing the food to the table - and my guess would be that they probably receive the least amount of the tip. If I do go back to this place, it will only be for a drink or appetizer during the day...the service ruins the experience
