“Fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2014

We stayed 3 nights in our tent in Febuary and were impressed with the cleanliness of the site, the large pitching sites and the great facilities that were spotless. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Will defiantly come again.

I stayed here a for 5 nights in February, with a few friends. We were camping there so I can't comment on the rooms. But the owners were lovely people, the facilities were brilliant, the staff were amazingly friendly, not very expensive, and the pool was a added bonus. Would recommend to all!(:

We were there for 5 nights in January had a 2 bedroom cabin was just perfect. Big enough for 2 adults and an 8 year old.

8 year old had an awesome time and didn't want to go home, he loved the pool and the playground.

Perfect place to stay easy walk into town restaurants, to the ferry, and the beach.

Would certainly stay again and would recommend to anyone.

The only down side was the comfort of the bed.

Hi Stephanie, thanks for bringing the family to enjoy a stay with us. We get a lot of great feedback about how close to town we are and how much fun kids have in our safe environment. Could you contact us re the bed? We'd be interested to know what the comfort issue is as its quite a new bed - was it soft/firmness or size or something else? See you all again soon.

The owners were very thoughtful, we road our Motor Bike and they offered wood so we could park next to our cabin, and a hair dryer as I didn't bring one in my luggage, the cabin was well layed out and clean and fresh, we enjoyed our stay in this beautiful spot!

The grounds are just gorgeous, the facilities are modern clean and very tidy...there is even a hair dryer provided in the ladies toilet....big ups from me for that one hehe. The staff are so helpful and make a point of getting to know who you are hence personalizing your stay, we stay there every year for a large biking event every November, Thoroughly recommend this holiday park to anyone and everyone.

Room Tip: Beautiful setting everywhere is as good as anywhere on this site.

Mercury bay holiday park is very well run by a friendly couple. The facilities are brand new and absolutely immaculate. I wish all campsites could be this good, I actually didn't want to leave.
I thought it was a bit mean charging a dollar for a shower until I had one, then I was quite happy. Lots of water in a very clean well lit block.

Top marks to Helena and Craig for making our two nite stay so enjoyable. We were part of a motorcycle group and they even put on a 'sausage butty' breakfast! They garaged the bikes for us and even ran us down to local bottle store. Thanks team you made it memorable!
