“Even Better 2nd Time Round!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2013

Been our 2nd visit and knowing what to expect at Wildwood we were so looking forward to returning. As before we could not fault Dragonfly Cottage it was very clean and well maintained, lovely comfy beds and good quality crockery & glasses etc.

Excellent service from Vicky when you needed her and great to meet the lovely Ann (Siobhan's mum) Do stop and chat to her if she's around!

My parents and best friend from America were in for our wedding so the four of us headed down. Having stayed at wildwood three times prior I felt it would be a nice atmosphere to spend time with everyone and I was right. We stayed in the larger cabin (dragonfly I think?) and it was awesome! A lot of cherished memories and gave me a chance to unwind leading up to the wedding as we went on my first week of hols). Each night I soaked in the massive tub and then watched a movie In front of a warm fire.

We go down south around 3-4 times a year and wildwood is by far the best we have found. If you want peace and relaxation you have found your place!

This is the second time we have stayed at Wildwood Valley, the first time we stayed in Honeybee cottage which was perfect for us as a couple and this time we stayed in Blue Wren Cottage with friends. A perfect hideaway, very clean and comfortable and extremely friendly and helpful staff. We really look forward to returning in the not too distant future.

We have stayed with Siobhan and Carlo a number of times and can highly recommend it.
The moment we turn into Wildwood Valley we know we're on holiday and can just relax. Siobhan's cooking is fantastic - and there are a number of cooking school options.
Honeybee Cottage is perfect for couples, has everything you need and very private.

Honeybee Cottage was just perfect and very romantic for us to spend a couple of nights over our wedding weekend. It was clean, very private and had everything we needed.
Siobhan/Vicki were flexible to allow someone else to check in for us on our wedding day so we could arrive late after the reception. After a mix up on our side no one actually checked in but Siobhan/Vicki tried to contact us and ended up staying at reception until midnight to ensure we got in ok, even leaving the lights on in the cottage for us. Now that's going above and beyond.
We have spoken about going back in the future for a getaway and would thoroughly recommend Wildwood Valley as a place to stay in the southwest.

We attended Siobhan's Taste of Tuscany cooking school and were absolutely blown away by the location and style of the accommodation too (we stayed in Honeybee cottage). Waking up to the sight of kangaroos and hearing the sea made it extra special. And what an amazing bath with a view!
The cooking school was so much fun too. We will definitely be back.

Wildwood's Honeybee cottage is a great choice for couples... well set up self-contained accommodation (a kitchenette plus a bbq on the verandah) and only 5-10 mins drive from Yallingup, Smiths Beach and Dunsborough, whilst Margaret River to the south is about 25 mins drive. On the night we arrived a very friendly staff member phoned Lamont's deli at Smiths Beach to make sure they were still open for us to pop down (you can buy pre-prepared meals). The king bed is very comfortable, and the huge bath/bathroom is a real treat. Perhaps a breakfast basket would be a nice option, but I would definitely book again.

Room Tip: The Honeybee cottage is recommended
