Spectacular beach they way beaches should be in WA... Very few people, turquoise blue water and white sand.
It is a bit of a hike to the southern, protected end of the beach but it is definitely worth it as it was almost windless. Not too sure what the other comments that noted the beach is 'dangerous for swimming' - they must be referring to the northern end which is quite exposed... The south end is probably one of the most protected and safe for swimming in the entire region. Also, there are some pretty big dunes that are great for sandboarding down for those that have the energy to climb up. There is good surf both in front of the carpark and round the corner of the point but it does need a decent swell before the swell wraps around.
