“Must Try”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2013

The food was mouth watering, the prices were very good and the service was old fashioned and wonderful. Aristos was there the night we dined and had no airs or graces...he even cleared tables! I would return to Rottnest just to dine here again.

“Aristos”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2013

Did not eat here walked in at 5:30pm place was deserted, even though peak season. Air conditioning non existent and was very hot day, too hot to stay and eat would have been even hotter at lunch time.I'm assured the food is good but prepared to pay for it. They need airconditioinhg fans not adequate.

“Way too expensive!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2013

Although the view from the restaurant is great the price of the food is too expensive. My wife ordered the jhufish, which was $50 for one medium sized fillet of grilled fish, some chips and a small garden salad. My Thai salad was ok but was essentially a $30 salad with a tiny piece of fish. We went elsewhere for dessert.

“View over the water”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

We had the fish and chips which was lovely but expensive. The service is good. The outlook is amazing (right on the waterfront). The restaurant itself is open air (but there is netting to keep seagulls out) and has high ceilings and fans. On the day we went it was very hot and humid but there was a bit of a sea breeze which helped.

“Very nice food and a beautiful sea view too.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

The food was excellent although a bit pricey imo. My family had well portioned meals of fish, prawns and lobster which was fresh and tasty. The restaurant is near the settlement and easy to walk too. Beautiful ocean views and a small childrens play area next door. Let the kids play whilst you take your time to enjoy your meal and conversation. Staff are nice, effective and the meal preparation not to long. No table service to take orders, you have too line up cafe style to order and pay. Plenty of drink choices but it can be pricey for beer at $10 a bottle which is way over the top. It is a holiday island so one expects hyped prices though. Place is good for a one time meal. There are other good choices cheaper on the island.
