“A beautiful spot; wonderful hospitality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2013

Crabapple lane has spotless, spacious well-appointed rooms, with your own bathroom (also spotless and spacious),and great breakfasts (all with homemade jams, meuslis, muffins etc) Alas that we missed the blueberry crepes on Easter sunday. The house is stunning and the gardens peaceful and beautiful. And the rate unbelievably low. We had a wonderful four days. Would recommend this to anyone.

I have just stayed at the Crabapple Lane and enjoyed it the room was excellent your own bathroom your own TV great for people who just want's to relax for a few days Not far out of town neither which is good for people who don't want to travel too far out at night like myself.
The only thing is not much to choose from for eating out mainly the pub. But if you want travel a little further There is Augusta Margaret River Baliningup Bridgetown to see. Breakfast was muffins scones different jams fruit greek yogurt. Made up special tea 'coffee'. They were very helpful with what ever the problem was. Evening was port and chocolates on table for you if you wish to have. And as for Chester the cocky will becareful might bite depend on the mood. And they have a studio on site as well

Room Tip: queen room

Thank you for lovely review, however, there are many options for meals and we list these in our reception folder. Incidentally, the cheeky cocky now resides in a bird sanctuary down the road. Regards, Carmel and Ray

Complementing the beautiful scenery of the Shire of Nannup, Crabapple Lane's ownership offers a very dedicated attention to the guests. The personalised and really authentic breakfast, largely based on on-site and locally grown fruits used in jams, muffins and other foods was without a doubt one of the highlights of our stay. The hospitality the owners provide is outstanding; the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The surrounding farm adds to the experience, with a natural and relaxing touch. In addition, and despite being so far from large cities or towns, the Internet connection is quite fast. Working at a university, this aspect was quite important to us to stay connected with the outside world. I would strongly recommend Crabapple Lane to anyone.

A warm greeting from carmel and ray on arrival was followed by an inspection of the spacious lounge/dinig areas , Large ensuite rooms and outdoor areas including a bird attracting waterfall .
Our hosts made certain we were comfortable and well informed about local sights and dining options .
The continental breakfast was delightful .
We recommend Crabapple as a restful and interesting place to stay .

Room Tip: The waterfall room has a spacious verandah and the best views

My husband and I booked Crabapple Lane on the spur of the moment as our other accommodation had been cancelled. Carmel and Ray were very welcoming and by the end of our two night stay felt they were more like friends. That's not to say they intruded on our privacy but were happy to chat to us. The location is great and the Waterfall room was splendid, quiet with an outlook over the rear garden. Breakfast was delicious and all home made from the muffins to the bread to the preserves. There isn't a hot breakfast available but you really won't need it. There is plenty to choose from and it's all delicious. Afternoon tea was also provided and port and chocolates to finish off the day. Also, make sure you visit Carmel's studio. Would we stay there again - you bet!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Waterfall room but had the opportunity to look at the other double room and the twi...

My husband & I have just spent 4 wonderful nights at Crabapple Lane & could NOT fault it in any way. Mine hosts Carmel & Ray were just splendid. Nothing was too much trouble for them even when we asked for breakfast at 6.30 (as we were on a cycling tour) it was always ready for us. The ambience was beautiful & very comfortable & the setting was just spectacular. Breakfast was a feast of homemade goodies & plenty even for the largest of appertites. My only regret is that as we were on a timetable we had very little spare time to spend at the property. Next time we will have a relaxing few days there. Thanks again Carmel & Ray.
