“Nice food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2013

After a few unfortunate experiences where we arrived to find no food was being served I finally was able to sample food at the Black Rock and I wasn't disappointed.
Some meals are perhaps a little overpriced in comparison to other cafes however the quality is great. The service is always so welcoming.

“A good coffee alternative”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2013

If Gorges is closed (it will be by mid afternoon) try here, the coffee is good. They weren't serving food except toasties when I visited (1630-ish on a Saturday).

“Very nice evening”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2013

Black Rock was recommended to us and we would refer to others. Staff were attentive and accommodating with meals good value. We had the roast beef which was a good wholesome roast dinner.
Is a great location. Our waitress made mistake with bill but senior person is very attentive and knows exactly what is going on in the restaurant and very polished at her job and corrected it immediately. There was no fuss at all. Would recommend to others.

“Delicious Roast Meal and Fast Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

I recently had roast beef and vegetables at Black Rock Cafe. The staff were welcoming, pleasant, helpful and the service was fast. We ordered from the special options. The meal was $20. The meat was cooked beautifully. Exceptional value.

“Reasonable food at a reasonable price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2013 via mobile

Kalbarri is a regional holiday destination that is quite isolated being 600km north of Perth. It does not have a huge range of restaurants. We had dinner at the cafe and we all found the food very good. My friend had a roast dinner for $20, very good value. My wife and I has local pink snapper, and it was also very good. Service was also good. The wine list is not huge but reasonably priced. It is one of the few eating establishments that have a river view. We were not disappointed. Good food and good service at a reasonable price. Don't expect anything exceptional, just enjoy the country atmosphere and well prepared food..
