I got bumped from the chopper and had to stay here for a few days. The breakfast is pretty good, but there is nothing to do here. They have an OK bar, but don't expect any of the locals to talk to you. ZERO internet.

Stayed 3 nights in a dorm, not great atmosphere but that was mainly to do with unfriendly roommates. Rooms are not clean, a bed in our room stayed uncleared for the whole time we were there despite no occupant. Toilets are in the room which is frustrating when you need a midnight pee and the light wakes everyone up. The pub is good but shuts early, bavkpackers kitchen is fine but not very clean. Overall an average base but definitely the lowlight of our awesome trip

Stayed for one night in the backpackers section as a lay-over. Have been to many backpackers before and this place is pretty average: walls are paper thin, virtually no natural sunlight in the room if you didn't open the bathroom / toilet door and the grounds are somewhat depressing. Something should probably also be done about the strong smell of toilet cleaning agents wafting into the bistro (well, at least you know the toilet is clean). Luckily it's only a short walk to the town centre so I could eat there instead of putting up with toilet perfume during meals.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. We had stayed in a few apartments on our road trip and this one was the most expensive and smallest. It could really do with a lounge area. We were not given enough forks for 4 people. We tried to have a drink at the pool bar but it was shut. We had to use another bar which was very expensive. We used the smaller pool by the apartments which was lovely. The shower had a terrible design which meant all the water ran into the bathroom floor and you had to mop it after every shower. The apartment was clean.

We stayed for two nights, has a nice couple of pools but bars were never open by the pool. Rooms were clean but shower curtain didn't reach, meaning floor was like a river. We had a room of four but only wicker chairs to sit on was a bit uncomfortable, also kitchen was understocked (only three forks). Was expensive for what it had but that was the going rate in this area of WA.
