“Value for money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013 via mobile

Group of 8 of us, got there early - 12 noon lunch service starts - can safely say the best burger I have had in a LONG time. Deep, meaty interspersed with a generous helping of red onion for seasoning in a nice soft brioche style bap. Other members of the group not having burgers had the crab sandwich which was overloaded with fresh crab meat, hearty cheese and ham ploughmans and all served on white and blue rimmed enamel plates and bowls - just lovely!

“The holy grail of crab sandwiches”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013

Easy review to write. This is the place to go and find a special degree of perfection. The main business is lunches and it can get pretty crowded. Everything we saw and sampled was great but the crab sandwiches are in a league of their own.
The bread is excellent, the design is a special triple decker of generous proportions with just the right amount of butter. Then the crab is fresh and the right mix of brown and white meat. Most important the crabs come from the clear waters around the island and are wonderful. The whole ensemble comes with a lovely salad including a good balsamic dressing and some crisps.
The service is very simple and very personal and is a great deal better than anything found on the islands.
My only complaint was their knowledge of fraggle rock, the programme was not up to scratch.

“Amazing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013 via mobile

We had lobster sandwiches for lunch today, and they were beautiful. Good bread, fantastic lobster and fresh salad to go with it. Not to mention the lovely location and great service. Do pay Fraggle Rock a visit if you get a chance!

“Crabtastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

Wonderful little spot. It's tucked away and is accordingly laid back in every aspect. Happily, this applies to the friendly staff and the portion sizes. The crab sandwiches are comfortably the best that I've had - ever. And I grew up in Anapolis. They are worth the trip to the Scillies alone. Have a portion of prawns beforehand to ready yourself - natural and delicious!!!

“The best crab sandwiches in England”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013

Situated on the island of Bryher, one of the inhabited islands in the Scillies, almost the most westerly point in England sits Fraggle Rock cafe/restaurant. I recommend this for a lunch time treat - the food is always fabulous, and the fact that you are in paradise helps. The crab sandwich is sublime and always make a point of visiting when holidaying here. It is well worth the visit, if not only for the food and local ales, then to take in the fabulous views!!
