“A bit out of place but good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013

Hell Bay is on one of the outer of the Isles of Scilly
There is a very modern hotel and restaurant which seems a bit out of place in such beautiful surroundings
The food was good and the service excellent for lunch
Quite expensive but then they do have to transport everything a long way from the mainly and via another island
A good place to stop for lunch on a walk round the island

“Very nice food, good service, lovely setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2013

Our usual choice for lunch when visiting the island. Can't fault the food personally although my wife had an upset stomach later in the day. Great setting and friendly staff. Not sure that I would want to stay at the hotel but if you want to relax and chill, it is ideal.

The food and the service were excellent. We were able to sit outside to eat as the weather was lovely. The views was great. Lovely tasty food and the wine was great too!

“Heaven in Hell Bay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2013 via mobile

Three of us arrived for lunch after taking the boat across from Tresco and found a table in the garden which was quite a sun-trap. The Bouillabaisse had previously been recommended to us so we had two mains of this and a Moule Mariniere starter as a main course, and we would pass that recommendation on! The Sticky Toffee Pudding and Ice Cream to round things off was just right, and not too sweet.

“A lovely late lunch on Bryher.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

We broke a lovely walk around Bryher for a late lunch at the Hell Bay. Despite arriving at 1.59pm (lunches stop at 2.00pm), we had no problem at all ordering a meal. The staff were courteous and welcoming and the delicious meal arrived promptly. There was a large wedding party in, but that did not affect the service or standard of food. The location is superb and a brisk walk around Hell Bay itself is good for working off the calories afterwards!
