“One of the very best we have stayed in”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2012

It is very rare to go to a hotel where there are no negatives. I have racked my brain to try and think of one but came up with a blank.

I don't quite know how they do it but this is a about a perfect a place as one could find, particularly if you need peace. A set menu and an entirely Majorcan wine list might not suit everyone: I was not sure it would suit me but it works. We dined in for five nights and every dinner was a joy. Finest ingredients. perfectly balanced flavours and of particular note was an outstanding beef carpaccio and a fillet of turbot. The wines were varied and excellent.

Breakfast consists of fruit ( lots of it ) and croissant but wonderful eggs and bacon are available if, like me, you are not a fruit fan.

The rooms are of very similar standard as La Residencia at at third of the price and the gardens and pool are delightful: in fact, we were lucky enough to have the pool to ourselves for most of the week.

This is a small, family hotel in a really peaceful and rural location. The main sound you hear really are sheep bells. Adrian, Susy and Sophie make this a very special place indeed.

Perhaps the only thing missing was a visiting spa service: my hip and back were killing me and I could have done with a massage. However, that would have taken it beyond perfection and I don' think i would have ever left.

We keep popping up at Can Furios and we're always amazed at the effort Susy, Sophie and Adrian put in to keep the place spotless, the gardens immaculate and also find time to feed us!

As ever we loved our stay and the lunches, dinners and vinos!

Fabulous!!

Room Tip: The garden suites are our favourite but all the rooms are interesting and individual (we've had...

My wife and I stayed in the Can Berona suite for a week. Overall comments are very consistent with prior reviews. The garden room was perfect and like the rest of the hotel spotlessly clean, spotless! It was great to sit on the balcony listening to the sheep bells, reading a book with a glass of red, occasionally looking at the view.....you get the picture.
Binibona is a tiny, quiet, hamlet that provides a lovely spot to chill....but you can access all areas of the island within an hour.
Adrian and Suzy were perfect hosts as other reviewers have all called out, attentive and very friendly but never 'in the way', they genuinely want you to enjoy your holiday. Eating dinner at the hotel was a treat, the standard of food was excellent and Suzy is a very modest chef. Our stay was enhanced by the company of our fellow guests, sisters Molly and Laurie and Alf and Julie, thank you.
I had very high hopes for this holiday and I was not disappointed.

If there was a box above excellent I would have picked it!!!!

A fabulous, luxurious and relaxing week in a superb hotel, run by some of the most professional, helpful and friendly people I have come across – well done and a big thank you to Adrian, Susy and Sophie for offering us this fantastic service!

The cooking (done by Susy) was just wonderful, all healthy home produce presented in a truly professional way in the most gorgeous setting. The food was some of the best we have ever tasted.... missing it already!!
As for Adrian, a true gent, who will do everything in his power to get you what you want and make your stay even more comfortable and relaxing than you can ever imagine.

The room was most beautiful and pristine with an amazing view!!!

The hotel is situated in a wonderful location for walking, running, cycling as well as exploring the island. Our favourite place that we visited was Port de Soller – a beautiful little resort and well worth a visit, but it was so nice to come back to Can Furios............

A big thank you to Adrian, Susy and Sophie for making our stay just perfect!!

Room Tip: All the rooms are beautiful...

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at Can Furios and can concur that the other reviews on here are absolutely spot on. The hotel is small and perfectly formed, in every way. The owners, Adrian and Suzy (and their daughter Sophie) are the ultimate hosts. We turned up late in the evening with two bikes (in huge boxes) and Adrian didnt bat an eyelid, Suzy presented us with a beautiful meal and our fellow diners couldnt say enough about how much we would enjoy our stay. We did, every second of it! We will definitely be back. Huge thanks to Adrian and Suzy. See you soon hopefuly.

Room Tip: The suites are incredibly spacious and absolutely stunning. Well worth the extra money.

My sister and I visited Can Furios for four nights and thought it was perfect. When you read other reviews about the idyllic and tranquil setting, they are not exaggerating- the only sound you hear at night is the tinkling of the sheep bells in the field. The hotel is covered in beautiful bougainvillea and has multiple beautiful spaces to relax and enjoy the sunshine, some amazing (!!!!) food, or a drink. Everything is immaculately clean (rooms are cleaned top to bottom EVERY day), bathroom amenities are Crabtree & Evelyn (loved this), the A/C works great, and the other guests could not have been more pleasant. It was so nice to come back to such a peaceful sanctuary after a day of exploring the island. It's only 30-45 minutes to most areas including the airport, but you feel like you're in another world without any tourists. Also, the neighboring villages are adorable.

Adrian, Susy, and Sophie are amazingly kind and helpful- someone is always available if you need help, and they are always more than willing to provide it. We were having trouble getting in touch with our rental car company, so Adrian called for us and got us in touch with them. Susy was worried about our long layover in Madrid on our way home, so she made sure we had the number to call her if we ran into any trouble. We ate at their incredible restaurant 2 out of the 4 nights we were there, and on the last night we realized we had made a big mistake by not having our last meal there- so we asked if we could have dessert on the terrace, and Susy made us the most delicious tart tatin right on the spot!!

Overall, just perfect and we can't wait to go back!!

Just back from what seemed like a short break because it passed far too quickly - but was in fact a 17-night stay. This is our fith, or sixth visit. I loose count. Sorry, south of France, to whom we've been faithful for over twenty years, but this is where we'd far rather be, up in the mountains with the tranquility and serenity and to use that cliche - far from the madding crowds.

Suzy keeps the place immacualate - and I mean you can eat off the floor-levels of housekeeping. And then she makes a superb dinner in the evening and never the same dish twice. It's so typical of Adrian and Suzy to be too modest, but before opening Can Furious, they owned a very successful and much-missed restaurant in the Buckinghamshire countryside, so when Suzy makes dinner in the evening, you are infact being catered to by a top professional chef. But of course Suzy would never actually tell you this.

No one is better at being a host than Adrian. If you want to explore Palma, Adrian will organise a professional guide. Want to go hiking in the mountains behind the hotel? Adrian will point you in the right direction. Go out in a boat and cruise around the coastline? Adrian knows just the person with the right-sized boat who can take you. What's the local history all about? Where are the best shoe shops? Go ask Adrian.

But if you'd rather relax by the pool - this is the place to simply chill and recharge and unclutter your mind from all that maddening fuzz.

Our room, which overlooked the garden, was spacious, with lovely fittings, and as one can always expect at Can Furios, spotless. How many other hotels actually change the entire bed linen every day?

You know you've had a really good holiday when you can't bear to arrive at the last day, knowing you'll be leaving all too soon. That's why we're going back again later this year. Can't wait!

Room Tip: All the rooms are excellent so you can't made a wrong choice.
