We were lucky enough to have stumbled across this place really. We were in the area, it was dinner time so after a quick trip advisor search thought we'd try our luck. We were delighted with the experience from the moment we saw the front entrance and made our way in. The first thing that hits you is the interior styling and the warm atmosphere. Freshly renovated with contemporary styling while still bring respectful of the original structure, it's very intimate and romantic (even though we were a party of 4). The lightning was spot on (something amiss in many of our other Italian dining experiences). The fish sculptures over the light fittings are very unique and the large piece on the central wall, made very recycled metal, is very eye catching - made by the architect who did the renovation. Francesca, the owner and head chef greeted us personally and as the menu is all in Italian took the time to explain every dish to us in detail. Her passion and commitment was highly evident. The meal was truly Michelin quality with each dish delicately presented. Everything is home made including the cheese made by her aunt - very nice touch. The bread was also exquisite. Great wine list too. If you're in the area, this is an experience not to be missed.
