My girlfriend treated me to a weekend in Capri for my birthday and we stayed at Casa Mariantonia. On our arrival a bottle of Moscato was on ice on our patio which overlooked lemon trees in their secluded orchard. The family are wonderful, helpful and warm - we even got a goodbye kiss from Vivica. They were always there to give directions, give us ferry times, suggest a nice walk and recommend a place to eat. I highly recommend staying in Anacapri away from the onslaught of Capri but also to experience a flavour of the local ways and traditions and there is no better place to stay than at Casa Mariantonia.

The rooms are luxurious and very comfortable with a view on the lemon trees. The breakfast is great. And the hospitality of Pierre Paulo, his brother, his sister and his parents are great.
TIP: Go to beachplace Lido and ask them to book for you il Cucciolo a nice restaurant hidden in the little streets of Anacapri and with the best view of Capri.

Just returned from spending a night at Casa Mariantonia. Hotel is a very quaint part of Anacapri and convenient to the historic downtown and also the local bus that runs thru. Owners are extremely accommodating and the pride of ownership shines thru. The house in fact used to be the childhood home of the owner. We enjoyed the renovations that were made and the decorations throughout the room and hotel were quite nice and representative of Capri. We particularly
enjoyed our room which overlooked the orange orchard that is part of the property. When coming to Mariantonia be prepared to live at the Capri pace of living. We are a fast paced couple that wanted to see as
much as possible but things on Capri have tendency to change those plans.

Casa Mariantonia is a beautiful place, in Anacapri. It is clean, beautifully decorated and the service is excellent. We had a yummy breakfast served each morning on the balcony. Vivica was always helpful, directing us to great beaches and sights and she made us and our children very welcome.

It is much nicer staying in quieter Anacapri as it has some great restaurants and shops.

We highly recommend Casa Mariantonia and can guarantee you will not be disappointed with the quality of this property. Definately value for money!
