“The best hotel in Anacapri”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

We visited this hotel for one night, courtesy of a free night award. The entrance is majestic, with a work of art by a well-known Italian artist. One can see through glass windows the inside of the superb pool. At reception we were greeted warmly and professionally. We were even offered an upgrade in a superb sea-view room. Our luggage, that went missing at Naples airport, was quickly retrieved by the hotel agent at the airport the next day and delivered. The whole staff was extremely friendly and professional. We will surely miss this place and cannot wait to return!

Must stay in this part of Island it is such a busy Island with day visitors and gets quieter at night! The hotel was fabulous the rooms pretty with a good size balcony with lovely views . The service and breakfast are excellent . I would stay there again. The beach is a bit of a trek but it is a private hotel sea no beach excellent swimming. The Restautant there fresh fresh sea food.

Fantastic hotel and spa offering first class service and hospitality. Would definitely recommend this hotel. The pool is amazing but incredibly deep at both ends. The walk up to the hotel entrance is cool, as it is underneath the swimming pool and you can see people swimming through a number of windows.

To be generous Id say 3 star. The rooms are small and headboards are filthy. Shampoos and soaps smell disgusting and that same smell in the hallways will start getting on your nerves after second day.Room service will always get your order wrong and the over priced restaurant will serve you food that would make real italians cry in dissapointment. Who puts canned mushrooms on a pizza, do they know how to make dough and your cheeses are suppose to be the best, so why is it tasteless and stale??
Btw you will never have internet service!! You are super far from the beach and each taxi ride down will cost a minimum of 20 euros, depending on if theyre scamming you or not...
Some hotel staff is awesome and some are incapable of anything.
What is most sad is most of the "life" of Capri is down by the square, you wont see any unless you go because Palace hotel is boring and mostly senior citizens. Have fun if you are 67+, like garbage food, dont mind paying 40$ for a 12in nasty pizza ooozing olive oil, have your eyes burn from the soap, sleep in filth and want to stare at view. Cause thats what you are paying for!

we just went for an aperitivo and it was fantastic. Perfect nibbles, perfect drinks, beautiful atmosphere. Live music was high quality. The terrace is stylish and the service was precise and chatty. Price in line with other aperitivos in a similar hotel category.
The view from the terrace is not the best in anacapri.

I stayed here with my family and friends to celebrate my husband's birthday in July. Capri is really beautiful- it has a bit of everything, sun, sea, sand, food, night life, shopping...

The hotel had a very calm and serene atmosphere upon arrival. Modern hotel but with lots of character. We stayed in the Warhol suite, gorgeous room with a beautiful pool, very spacious.

We ordered room service a few times, it was just average. Breakfast was sufficient.

The service did not live up to my expectations given the status of this hotel. I had asked for an iron to iron my toddler and baby's clothes but I was told that there were no irons currently available and the laundry was closed. After expressing my dismay and asking if we were expected to go out with rumpled clothes, an iron eventually emerged. By the next day, after the room was serviced, the iron had disappeared. When we called to asked for it, we were told we were not allowed to have irons in the rooms and had to send them to the laundry for pressing, for a charge of course. This was rather confusing to me as I had been told the previous day that the irons were being used by other guests!

The staff were generally agreeable but seemed to give the impression that they were being disturbed whenever we needed their service.

Beautiful hotel but I will shop around for others next time I visit Capri.

Just stayed at this property on the island of Capri.....and I'm dying to return. Every thing from the time of the arrival to the departure is just unreal. The staff was wonderful and never had an attitude, the rooms were beyond clean and opulent.....AND MAKE SURE YOU GO TO THE BEACH CLUB!!!!!!!!
