This hotel is so glamorous. The pool is beautiful, the rooms have all mod cons but...... We weren't allowed to use the pool due to 'maintenance' although no work appeared to be going on. The jacuzzi didn't work in either room despite intervention from the housekeeper. The view from the balcony was non-existent. Breakfast was an impressive buffet but the muzak was painful: loud soul diva stuff, not very relaxing and what was that weird art installation with the spooky clowns? Obviously a lot of money has been spent here but no soul. We fought for the right to swim as the pool was the reason we booked. The hotel owner stood and watched us with his arms folded. Intimidating.

What a beautiful hotel, our room was awesome, and the pool was fantastic; we would definitely stay here again! We were glad that it was not in Capri, what a zoo in the town centre with all of the tour groups. It was very convenient to catch the bus into Capri too... The sisters from Argentina were very nice to us (great Vodka Gimlet), they have a great little bar, and a super breakfast, the best on our trip!
Other tips:
*Go early to the Blue Grotto via the local bus, get there at 9:00AM
*Spend a day swimming in the Ocean and while having a great lunch at Beach and Restaurant DA Luigi, awesome views and swimming

Room Tip: All the rooms are probably very nice, ours was terrific

Lovely small hotel in the centre of Anacapri. The rooms were modern and were decorated very stylishly, and the bathroom with its butterfly mosaics on the wall was stunning. the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Breakfast was a buffet, with both hot and cold selections, although on our last morning the scrambled egg was almost cold. The hotel restaurant, Capricci, served some fantastic food, but unfortunately the service was not of the same quality. We'd chosen to share a starter, but instead it came out at the same time as one of the main courses. The reception staff were helpful and friendly and always spoke as you entered or left the hotel. The pool area was lovely and very uncrowded, at most there were 6 people at a time. From here it was easy to access all Capri has to offer, whether by bus or one of the wonderful stretch convertible taxis. I would definitely recommend this boutique hotel to friends.

Room Tip: Not worth spending money on a suite - you won't want to be spending your days in the hotel!!

Wonderfully placed hotel on a beautiful little pedestrian street in Anacapri. Hotel is small and very designed (lots of white and minimalism). Our room was lovely and had a great balcony.
The bathroom was beautiful and food was pretty good on the evening we ate there.
We also spent some time at the pool, which is large enough to swim in and had some nice features and sun loungers..
The place seemed very quiet when we were there. We stayed three nights and were alone at breakfast on two of the mornings.

It didnt feel like a five star hotel though mostly because the standard of service, reception apart, wasnt up to scratch. At the pool we had to go ask for drinks. In the restaurant the service was pretty poor and in general it felt much more 4 star. It was all just kind of average.

Just came back from a week long stay at Blu Capri -- a delightful boutique hotel situated right in the heart of Anacapri. My room (a Junior Suite) was impeccable: well designed and executed, a comfortable bed, a good sitting area and with a lovely balcony looking up Monte Solaro.

The service overall was excellent -- charming and lively staff, who made every effort to make you feel welcome. (In particular, the service in the bar and restaurant was very good.) The pool was big enough to have a decent swim and, contrary to experiences of other reviewers, the service at the poolbar was on a par with the rest of the hotel.

Overall, a most enjoyable week.

We spent three wonderful nights at this hotel, and we're really delighted. with all aspects of our stay. We stayed in one of the junior suites on the second floor, and it was very modern and beautifully designed with a comfortable couch and very firm comfortable bed. The room is nice and quiet. There's unfortunately no ocean view (unless you stand on your tippe toes!) but there is a nice balcony.

The bathroom was beautiful, functional, and very clean with lovely mozaic tiles. There is a a very nice rain shower and a jacuzzi bath (which we actually didn't use).

Contrary to some of the other reviews, we found the breakfasts to be very good with fresh fruit, cheeses, meats, cereals and scrambled eggs -- and of course a very nice capuccino and fresh juices. The breads and pastries were nice, (really nice croissants would have been a nice addition), but generally everything was very tasty and there was a good choice of items.

The staff was very accommodating. When I came down late one day for breakfast the scrambled eggs were already finished. The waitress kindly offered to make a plate for me without my even having to ask.

We had drinks at the hotel every night, and the staff was very friendly, and provided us with nice nibbles to go with. One night there was surprisingly nice live music. We had dinner one night in the restaurant and this was one of our better meals in Anacapri.

In conclusion this is a very good choice in Anacapri if you like modern design boutique hotels and are looking for friendly, helpful staff.

Helpful staff, nice location and surroundings. we stayed here for 3 days, and it was perfect. We have noticed that some members have written that service was low, but this was not the case now in any way. Everything from start to finish was great (reception, pool guys, bar, housekeeping, and we followed many of the advises and recommandations we got. I had my birthday during the stay, and I got cake with lights etc by the pool . The pool-food is very good:) Spa is very nice. If there is something to do better - the only little thing I missed was some more bread- and serreal - colletion, and still water, and also boiled eggs (I ask for it though and got it - so no problem.). WIFI connection is poor outside the room. One more little thing - it would be nice to have a fitness possibility....that is a must at a 5 star(inndoor or outdoor). But of course, there is many nice walks to do a for those who likes that:) It is nice to have a balcony to take morning sun. Nice room and perfect location. We rented a scoother for 2 days, and that wa also nice. The bus goes all the time. Capri is great. We will come back:)
