If you are gonna stay in Capri for a few days, you definitely need to visit Villa Damecuta.
In my opinion best B&B in town. The service is spectacular, the sunsets unforgetable, the family that owns the B&B provides the best service in town....

If you like having breakfast and dinner looking at the Mediterranean, that is your place.

Plus, they have garden that reminds the scene from The Godfather I, where Vito Corleone dies playing with his grandchild....

Amazing. Simply amazing. From the first time you step foot onto the property to taking your last step, this place is truly a blessing. Raffaella greeted us with warmth and genuine care. Carlo, her father and Angelina, her mother also treated us as if we were members of their own family, making sure that we were comfortable, offering us iced tea during the day, and just making sure that we were completely comfortable. Raffaella, gave us tips on how to get around, where to go eat (all her recommendations were spot on!), what to see, what to do, and without her and her family, we would not have been able to enjoy capri to the level that we did. But it's their kindness that made staying there so great and leaving it so difficult. And the breakfast, just top notch! To know more, you need to experience this yourself! I am going back soon!

This family run b & b will not disappoint. So welcoming & kind nothing is too much trouble. Amazing breakfast out on the terrace with a spectacular view! Fresh ingriedients from their garden! Lots to see & do on the island.. also a very relaxing island. Away from overcrowed tourist area of Capri while still close & easily accessable to all attractions :)

A lovely home in the town of Anacapri, found fairly easily on the small cobbled streets. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and attractively furnished. Breakfast on the terrace with a sea view was excellent, with local fresh eggs and produce. Raffaela was very helpful with maps and directions to help us plan our stay. We were sorry that we couldn't stay longer!

Villa Damecuta is a treasure. The “adventure” to find this little gem is itself is fun –– but you do need to expect a bit of wandering through charming streets. Trust your “nose” and keep heading down through the winding streets. It’s easy. If in doubt, keep asking the locals for confirmation: they are so genuinely helpful. Our host, Raffaella, showed us to our immaculately clean room and indicated that she would meet us on the veranda for tea when we were ready. She was prepared with maps and immediately told us about the various points of interest on the island and how to get to them. We were staying only one night and had specific objectives, and Raffaella was spot on in helping us making the most of our time. Rafaella is amazing.

The location of Villa Damecuta is exquisite –– from the veranda there is a view of the sea. For our breakfast on the veranda we were offered omelettes made of fresh eggs –– not to be refused. We also enjoyed cucumber, tomato and plums from villa’s gardens. I can well imagine spending many happy days at Villa Damecuta.

As it turns out, it may have been more convenient for my itinerary to have stayed in Capri town, but for me the flavor of Anacapri is much more genuine. If you want tourists, designer shops and glitz, go to Capri, but if you want to feel the pulse of this gorgeous island, go to Anacapri. And you will not do better than Villa Damecuta.

All the superlatives in the other travellors' reviews are true. Returning to Capri after 43 years, Villa Damecuta with Rafaella and her family was a very nice experience. The warm friendly athmosphere, the genuine interest of the family to see to it that we got an enjoyable stay , the very nice and clean premesis and last but not least the mornings on the terrace with the generous breakfast contributed to this. The only regret we had when leaving was that we should have planned for a longer stay. We will surely return

My friend and I had the pleasure of staying at Villa Damecuta in Capri for four nights at the end of May 2011. I strongly recommend this well-priced, family run B&B for those wishing to sample the epitome of Italian hospitality, warmth and relaxation. Raffaella was extremely accommodating from the outset in terms of offering advice and ensuring that all our needs were met. Raffaella’s father, Carlo, also enjoys a friendly chat with the guests over a glass of wine. A substantial breakfast is provided every morning and the garden view is terrific. The accommodation is extremely well maintained, both clean and tidy and is ideally situated just 5/10 minutes walk from the Anacapri town centre and the bus station. All in all, Villa Damecuta offers the perfect restplace for a holiday in Capri. I really cannot emphasise enough how welcome the family will make you feel and doubt you will find better hospitality in the country.
