Went to Rodos Star on the 5th September for 2 weeks. We had a great 2 weeks. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were basic but you always had fresh towels ahd sheets every day. We were in room 314 and we had some views of the sea. We hired a car from the hotel which was a lot cheaper than the Olympic rep! It did break down but they put a new battery in it and we were good to go the next morning. The hill wasn't to bad I'm overweight and if I can do it everybody can!
The drinks are a little watered down, but I can see why as some Brits do go overboard when it is all inclusive. That's not the hotel's fault! They could make more of the pool area bar at night, as this was only used twice a week when there was a theme night. The outside area on the other nights was to small and people (especially us Brits) like to sit outside as we can very rarely do it at home. They need to make that bigger so more people can enjoy the warm air.
Cannot complain about the food as it was excellent, for how much you pay I'm amazed at the choice. All I can say is a big thank you to Tassos, Mouska and all the staff for a fantastic stay.

Went to Rodos star on the 29th of August for my 50th birthday with my husband.We had a wonderful 2 weeks there. Really not got any complaints...not even the hill, we done it everyday. Excellent value for money. The food was amazing, there were a few people complaining but I really dont know why. There was an excellent variety & I think we tried everything on offer. To my husbands delight he managed a 3 course breakfast, lunch & dinner practically everyday. I honestly dont know where he put it but he was on his glory. The heat was amazing & the breeze was very welcoming. We met a lot of lovely people too.
It is a family run hotel & everyone was very helpful, Enjoyed the greek night. An extra special thank you to Joanna, mimi & adi who were all lovely & very hard working. Even the kitchen staff were nice. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I just spent a week with my boyfriend at the Rodos Star hotel at the end of September, and it couldn't have been a better time. The staff are all friendly and welcoming, and the room, while basic, was comfortable and clean with fresh towels and sheets every day. We were on the third floor, with great views from the balcony under an amazing blue sky. Yes you have to walk up a hill to get there, but this just contributed to the views, and though steep, as long as you are forewarned and prepared it isn't hard. Take it slow and don't try it in the midday heat.

The food was wonderful, with a good selection at all three meals where you could eat as much as you want, and drinks available almost all day from one of the bars (thanks Ady and Nikos!) The beautiful pool area is perfect for enjoying the sun all day, with plenty of sun loungers for everyone

I highly recommend this hotel, I ignored a few bad reviews on here before going, choosing to trust the numerous good ones and am extremely glad that I did. Such good value for money and absolutely zero stress. For an amazing holiday please do try Rodos Star.

We stayed at the Rodos Star from 22nd August for 2 weeks. Well what can I say.......please do not read the bad reviews about this place. It is a small family run hotel and Tassos, Mouska & all the staff couldn't have made us feel more welcome. The rooms are basic, but adequate for what you need, fresh clean towels every day. The food was very good, lots of choice and always plenty of it. The drinks....especially the cocktails were great! Thanks Addy. The pool and pool area were very clean & always plenty of loungers. Yes there is the hill! but it isn't that bad especially once you get to the top!! Would definitely recommend this hotel for a peaceful, relaxing holiday.
