“Lucky day”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2012

We waited for a while with no maclaw to be seen, but all of the sudden the birds showed up. There were probably 20+. Definitely should bring good binoculars and cameras!

“no birds and not even a web cam to tell you in advance”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2012

Okay, so no one can promise that you will see birds at this clay lick. If so, KEEP THE ADVERTISING HONEST!!! At least, get a web cam so you can see in advance whether or not the birds are there. If you arrive and miss them, at least you know that is the case. This aspect of seeing wildlife in the "jungle" is really overhyped and misleading.

“Feeling hot, but the birds made it very good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2012

The Clay Lick was a bit small and cramped. The group I was with happened to coincide with other groups. Saying that, we saw some colourful macaws, which made the sweaty conditions worth it!

“Macaws Macaws Macaws”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2012

Seeing these magnificent birds fly into the Clay Lick and engage in their normal social behavior was brilliant. Remember though, be very quiet - you don't want to scare off the birds.

“Too far for too little”

A long walk through the mud and heat to see just one or two birds at quite a distance!
