Built into the side of the hill overlooking the harbor on Morro de Sao Paulo - offering a private bungalow for each guest. The accommodations are very comfortable, clean, and well appointed. I loved the hammock on our private porch facing the ocean with a non-stop breeze. This is not a luxurious hotel, but it doesn't need to be.
The breakfast buffet was extremely good. I loved the passion fruit pudding. Why oh why is passion fruit unavailable in Michigan?
There is one drawback - but it is not the hotel's fault. Late into the evening you may be able to hear nightlife. Drumming and music did wake me at 4:00 am.
