We (myself and Isabel) lodged at Xelena Suites Hotel , at El Calafate .
After my usual good pipe smoking in the outside of the Hotel , 06h30 and 2 Celcius degrees of warmth (...) , and the breakfast buffet , we boarded our EcoSport Ford' Jeep , for a drive through Route 11 , and the Patagonian' Dawn , to arrive at Puerto De Las Sombras by 11h30 and 4 degrees of temperature .
As about 200 passengers -many rednecks included ... from whom we escaped towards the freezing cold open air and exterior deck of the "Victoria Argentina" (Owned by "Hielo y Aventura)-
Temperature dropped below ZERO as we sailed through the Lago Rico and blue coloured small icebergs , and ice cold rain insisted on forcing us back to the huge cabin of the boat . But as a couple of stuborn travellers me and Isabel remained outsider (savouring the fantastic experience, and some of the 15 years that aged the whisky I took from Portugal in a small steel flask for this unique purpous)
A gigantic (60 mts tall) blue coloured Ice wall rouse in front os us from the chilly waters of Lago Argentino , as the boat slowed its course very nearby this stupendous scennary .
Absolutely FAN TAS TIC ! ...
I have no more words : Just enjoy the photos attached !
