Owner description: A trip to this imposing glacier gives you a chance to walk on the ice wearing cleats and to see and hear a truly astounding spectacle: blocks of ice rupturing and floating away as icebergs.

“Breathtaking and yet so accessible!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2013

The view of this glacier is simply breathtaking and so magnificent! Words can't describe that place, you have to see it! And kudos to the authorities for making it accessible to even the elderly or wheelchair bound.

We visited the park and went on the boat trip for a closer view of the glacier. It was fun watching small parts of it break but it was very cold! Do wear layers as it may get warmer as you walk around the park itself.

“Must see!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2013

I was originally going to do the Big Ice tour on Perito Moreno Glacier, but was talked out of it by hostel staff who said it was a tourist trap. I was really glad I didn't do it, because going to the park itself was great! The glacier is amazing, and we spent a good few hours walking around the paths in the park to see it from different angles. The paths are easy to navigate, the views are great, and you can still hear the ice cracking and see it falling into the water. Amazing site, a must see!

“Forget about the pictures. Just go there!”

The national park is well arranged. Clean toilets, spectacular views from the "pasarelas". Definetely worth at least 2 hours inside the park.

“Beautiful and simply amazing”

The sheer size of the glacier was beyond words. It was a great privilege to witness the massive expanse of ice and to be able to hike on it.

“Fantastic...”

The most touristy of all the glaciers i've visited. I would definitely recommend the boat trip which takes you up close to the Glacier. Watching bits fall off into the water is fascinating and makes an unbelievable noise!
