My family and I have been going to Aruba for about 10 yrs. Friends we met in Aruba year after year recommended Anna Maria's and I am so GLAD we went there. We were anxious to try it since Anna Maria is Sicilian and that is my family's heritage. It was the best meal we've ever had in Aruba. The dining is held in the back yard of her home under a pergola that extends off the back of her house. You can actually see her kitchen through the french sliding doors. Not only was the food delicious and flavorful, but the service was very attentive. We were a party of 6. Three of us had the grouper sauteed in garlic and oil over linguine w/a slightly spicey light red sauce. My son had linguine in white clam sauce. My daughter had penne' w/vodka sauce and my husband had the lasagna. I tried the kids dishes, as well a taste of my husbands. Everything was TERRIFIC! We looked forward to meeting her, but unfortunate for us that she was on vacation in Spain with her husband. Even though she wasn't there to actually cook the food, the woman who did - did a fabulous job! I highly recommend Anna Maria's on your next trip to Aruba. Don't forget to make a reservation ahead of time through Tripadvisor.com or by emailing the concierge at your hotel before you get there.
