“A Caribbean Gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2013

We were there April 20 - 27. Initially we were in an older unit but upon request, we were moved to a newly renovated 1 bedroom which was a large suite w full kitchen. Bed was comfortable. Staff was excellent. While not on the beach, they offered 2 shuttles daily to the beach. This is a quiet , well kept resort. If you want to Spring Break, you will not find it here. Resort offers quiet time for families and couples. Two very well kept pools. The hotel offered two adult pool parties which were a lot of fun. The intimacy/size of the resort allows as much, or as little, interaction with other guests as you want. Restaurant and bar on grounds, good service. Our 2nd floor suite had a huge balcony overlooking pool. Excellent restaurants all over Aruba. We highly recommend Ana Maria and Papapiemento's. We won a sunset cruise at the hotel orientation; great. We love Aruba and this resort, We cannot wait to go back!

Room Tip: Ask for newly renovated room. Not building E.

I was in Aruba for five days, and I really should have booked for a longer stay. The hotel Caribbean Palm Village Resort is a wonderful place to stay. The staff are wonderful, helpful courteous and just overall nice people to deal with. They went out of their way to help you with whatever your needs may be. Farley, he is just a lovely person who does his job with pride, that you cannot help but love him. I cannot say enough about the people at this hotel. The cleaners, the repair men, everybody was just wonderful. The cleaniness of the rooms and grounds were beyond my expectation. It is just a short taxi ride to the shopping area from this hotel, so if you want to get away from all the hustle of a fast pace life for just a short time, this is the place to stay.

Room Tip: My room was located in the E building on the 3rd floor and it was a nice room. The main A/C unit wa...

This little Gem nestled just minutes away from the hustle and bustle, is one of Aruba's premier secret getaways!!! I am so happy with the resort that I find it difficult to leave the facility!! My room is huge and newly remodeled as if brand new!!! The residence has the aviance of the original Aruba timeshare's with large balconies, beautiful pools, and quaint with the really geniune Arubian Charm that is long gone in the fast paced hotels. I am sitting on my huge balcony right now overlooking the pool and Jacuzzi. I enjoyed the pool and Jacuzzi last night as the water temperatures of the pool and Jacuzzi is absolutely perfect!!! Security is tight so I feel safe and secure. There is a little bar and restaurant on the premises which is run by a family that takes pride in the food and service. The bar has some big screen TV's and we watched the NCAA Basketball championship game last night. I have to really push myself to leave the room. I am a timeshare owner at two other resorts and I regret that I did not purchase here. This place is really a little gem. It is excellent for peace and tranquility, R&R, and a perfect safe place for families to bring their children and not have to worry about watching them every second, believe it or not. They have a brand new Gym with all new equipment, a brand new grilling area with brand new grills, all new appliances, I can't say enough. LOVE IT!!! DO IT!!

Room Tip: All the rooms are gorgeous! You can't go wrong!!

Caribbean Palm is about a mile east of the high rise hotels. It contains a mix of studio, one and two bedroom suites. They have been doing a lot of upgrading since the last time we were here. The resort shows very well. You enter the resort on the east side of the complex, and guest services are in a building that once held an Italian restaurant. There is a restaurant, Sweet Peppers, on the property.

The guest service building also houses a nice looking exercise room and I believe a guest lounge, though I have not seen it yet. Free wifi is available around the pools, and we are getting an acceptable signal in our room.

Our two bedroom suite has a king size bed in each bedroom, a very large living room with I believe a fold out bed/sofa and a full kitchen. Owners of these two BR units can create two vacation weeks by using the second bedroom as a lock-out, and exchanging the other half for a second week here or elsewhere. To allow this, the second bedroom contains an efficiency kitchen with a smaller refrigerator and microwave. Smaller appliances such as coffee pots and blenders are also in both kitchens.

Caribbean Palm has beach access agreements with three resort beaches. All beaches are public in Aruba, but the guest card will get you beach chairs or recliners, and so forth. Fresh pool towels are available each day by turning in the used ones.

Elevators are available in some but not all buildings. People with disabilities or problems climbing stairs can contact the resort to get accessible rooms.

The staff have been helpful and courteous without exception so far this week. The pools are clean, there are lots of tabled with umbrellas for shade, and plenty of room to stretch out at the pool without falling over somebody. If being at a beachfront property is not your highest priority, we recommend staying here.

Room Tip: Families with children should get first floor rooms. Most if not all have a patio with direct access...

The resort is about 1.5 miles from the beach. Having said that if you go diving, snorkeling, etc the company you buy your package from will pick you up so the distance from the beach isn't that big of a deal. We had six people in a two bedroom suite and we had a lot of room. The resort consisted mostly of retired people. The only bad thing I could say about the resort was it had a bad car rental service.

We returned last weekend after a 2 week stay at this resort. We have owned a timeshare there for 15 years, but never had stayed there before. The resort is beautiful, well maintained and safe. The staff were all helpful and polite. There was plenty to do as far as activities..or you could do nothing at all.We stayed on the 3rd floor of building A in room 1307 overlooking the bar and pool and were very pleased with the condition of the condo and the location of our room. There was no attempt to hard sell additional timeshares.Overall it was a wonderful vacation,we met many nice people, both visitors and locals, and we will be back.

The Caribbean Palm Village is located slightly inland from Palm Beach. It is a gorgeous resort. Access to the beach is at the Moomba Beach Bar, between the Marriott and Holiday Inn. A courtesy shuttle is provided twice daily. The resort is classy, has an excellent pool area and a restaurant / bar with multiple daily Happy Hours. Should you wish to stay within the resort, your time around the Palm tree surrounded pool will be most pleasant. We had a one bedroom unit with two bathrooms, flat screen TV’s, Wi-Fi, full kitchen and blender. The BBQ area was clean and functional. Shopping for groceries was easy with a small grocery store only a few minutes to the north of the resort. Prices were best in town. The store was well lit and products were of good quality. Turn left at the main gate. 2 minute walk on right hand side of road.

Room Tip: Pool View is a good choice
