Taxi driver recommended when I asked where *he* would go for a nice seafood dinner and was backed up by a staff member at the Marriott where we stayed.

Delicious from beginning to end. Portions are a good size. The kids were able to split a dish, and they even put it on separate plates for them. Service was excellent. Bread was so good my 7 y.o. son said he was going to stop eating it because it's so good and the kind that you want to dip in a soup or a sauce. Lots of catch of the day options. Meal was fresh and absolutely the best meal we had all week.

It's not on the beach, but frankly, I am over eating on the beach and sand blowing on my food and collecting at the bottom of my wine glass.

Make reservations before you arrive in Aruba. We barely got our 5:30 our last evening there.

“Favorite restaurant in Aruba”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2014

This is the our favorite restaurant in Aruba. The fish is freshly caught each day and prepared to perfection. Make sure to make your reservation because it's a small restaurant and they are always busy. It's a casual atmosphere and the service is very friendly.

“Fisherman's Choice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2014

Every year when visiting Aruba we always dine at Wacky Wahoo's. Fresh fish cooked with a local Aruba flair is always very good, but maybe slightly salty for some pallets. Recent remodeling provide a more enjoyable atmosphere for casual dining. A variety of fish catches are available everyday in larger portions than most restaurants. On a recent visit we had a Grouper and Lobster tail with plantain, rice and corn bread. The Grouper wish moist and tasty but the Lobster tail was dry and slightly over cooked for out taste. Wacky Wahoo closes for vacation during late July and early August so be sure to plan your visit accordingly.
