Refurbished rooms terrific but others shabby and uncomfortable.
Smallish buffet - not as varied as Le Meridian.
Few staff understand or speak English.
Lovely pool, nice beach, lots of activities for kids.

Room Tip: make sure to get a newly refurbished room

There are two major advantages to this hotel but they pale in big disadvantages.
Advantages: 1. Private Beach 2. All rooms with sea view.
We booked Deluxe room. The furniture is not maintained and looks old.
We asked to see a Standard room, it looks very old and the old type TV.
The lobby looks old, very used carpet and armchairs very uncomfortable - not a pleasant stay in the lobby.
Only two internet stations in the lobby available to all hotel guests.
Food is very small and standard selection If some run out of dishes some customers do not get good count.
Hotel corridors are not air conditioned.
Sulfur spa room looks outdated and unpleasant. The steam room smells of urine and pressure showers just are not maintained.
During the stay I asked several times to speak to the hotel manager but he never came back.
The day before my departure promised deputy director of admissions (Shira, if I'm not mistaken) that the next day will call me Director of Public Relations, that did not happen.
We left disappointed and do not feel that we got our money adequate compensation.
I understand that public relations manager will answer here how sorry the hotel and they will do everything to correct deficiencies and to invite us for another vacation site. But I'm sorry, these beautiful words to go through the motions.
I suggested to you, take a different hotel Standard room seemed better tham Deluxe room at this hotel.

Room Tip: Don't touch Standard room. Othe hotels have better Standard rooms.

this hotel is very good. 5 stars hotel. big rooms .
the acsess to the the dead sea us very easy 2 minets walk from the spa and the pool .
not all the hotels around provide thus easy accses and you can stay in water without sun. the hotel put very good protection from the sun while you in water and chairs in the water that you can seet and relax. it is very hot so i think it is very important.
also the pool is very big, water very clean, and alsow you can have shadow inside the pool.
the food is also very good and the dinning room is big .
the hotel is very close to macdonnald's and the mall and also at evening have a nice bar and coffe area.
also the elevators are very qickly.
ask for view to the pool and dead sea.
there are many good hotels have a private beach but the problem is that in most of them you have to walk a lot or waite for hotel shuttle to take you.
have a good vacation
the date i take photo is not 2012 it is 2013. i set the camera by mistake to 2012.

Rooms are comfortable and clean but until you reach them you have to sweat since the floors and corridors are not air conditioned.
Restaurant always noisy and it is imjpossible to find a quiet and intimate place to eat at any time whatsoever.
Spa treatments expensive and treatment's length less that the time specified - with no discount of course....

Room Tip: The higher the better

A good health spa in a fantastic location. The spacious lobby overlooks the pools and the Dead Sea which is the reason to be here. The help could have been more helpful. The buffet was okay but the view from the dining room of the Dead Sea is compelling. The big pool is unique with an area in the middle where there's very good live music. There's another pool with salt water and a couple of hot tub. It's definitely a water theme health spa with more masseuses then support staff.

I was very disappointed with my stay and particularly the service which I received in this hotel. It got off to a bad start as when we arrived in our car to park we were sent away by the security who had no interest in helping us at all, we had to pay to park in the mcdonalds car park for the weekend.

The hotel is in a good location and the private beach is excellent, the pool is very nice as well. It was very busy at the weekend when I was there, the breakfast was standard for Israel we had a look at the dinner buffet which costs 200 sheckles and it looked awful, we went to the Taj Mahol around the corner which was very nice but the only real other choice for restaurant, unless you want a mcdonalds!

I have been in contact with the hotel after leaving and the poor service continued, I was hung up on and left waiting for almost half an hour with no resolution to my issues. I have had to contact crowne plaza direct and am awaiting a resolution still.

I'm sure there are other hotels on the dead sea with a private beach just as good. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

The hotel is in the amazing location of the heart of the Dead Sea. The hotel is right on the beach, no shuttle necessary you are 1 minute walk into the water. The hotel has a fantastic pool, and also an indoor fully heated salt water pool for those cooler days. Our room overlooked the whole of the beach area, absolutelt stunning views! Buffet dinner was also fantastic. Friday night had an entertainer, with disco to cater for all the guests. Highly recommend this stunning hotel in the Dead Sea!
