“Perfect weekend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2013

We spent a delightful weekend from the 17 May 2013. We have been there before but they were renovating at the time. The hotel is situated in the best part of Ein Bokek near to the shopping mall.
Despite the fact that the outside of hotel looks quite ordinary, the reception is very nicely decorated. The rooms are beautiful with a spacious modern bathroom (shower only). The view of the Dead Sea is a wonderful experience.

We stayed at the hotel on a half-pension basis. Both the breakfast and evening meal were excellent with a selection for all tastes.

A regular shuttle service is available for Isrotel's private beach.

We were impressed by the service in the reception - Sarina was very friendly and helpful. Also Oria, who works in the restaurant and lobby was very nice.

Strongly recommended.

I really enjoyed my two-night weekend in this hotel. Though modest outside, it is elegant inside, with a beautiful lobby and sitting area, a lovely dining room, very nice room with the breathtaking view of the Dead Sea, 2-minute walk to the public beach and 5-minute walk to the wonderful private beach (with a constant shuttle to and from the private beach that the hotel supplies), very helpful staff.

Room Tip: A room with a view to the sea is obviously better than a room without such a view.

The hotel loby and welcome were very nice, the loby is very nice designed, wooden homy atmosphere, the room was spacy with a great view to the dead sea, but without a balcony and a tab, only dush. The spa was great, hot dedsea pools and an outside pool, very near to a shopping center and the beach.

This was one of the most relaxing placing I've ever been. The hotel itself was excellent, and just as amazing as all the surrounding attractions of Israel. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who is in the area.

Room Tip: If you can get a room facing the Dead Sea, the view is Awesome!

Our first time at the Isrotel Ganim, as a spier, to check the facilities. Will recommend this spa hotel to our friends and the collegues. The restaurant will be signed 6 point. Specially the pool space with the cabines.

Room Tip: The high floor room has a beautiful view

Stayed here with a group and my comments should be read in that light.

This is a decent hotel. Nice location and nice lobby. Makes you glad to get back after a night of touring.

The rooms are decent albeit ours didn't seem to get very cool -- although it is the Dead Sea, of course. Nothing unbearable.

A special feature are the two indoor pools with water from the Dead Sea. All the experience of salt water healing and floating but without the dirt and grime of Dead Sea beach. Apparently they filter the water -- but not the salts. You're just as buoyant here as in the real thing -- and it's a lot cleaner!

Food was good with free wine on tap. Not premium quality to be sure but free wine and beer is free wine and beer. Nice grill as part of the buffet.

Warning. No coffee or tea at night. Not even at extra charge. As we were told, "Coffee is only for the morning!" Strange custom and certainly not uniform throughout Israel -- but then quirks are part of the charm of traveling I suppose.

Another poster commented on the lack of hair dryers. They do have them available from housekeeping but if you wait to call until you need one, your hair is likely to be long dry before it arrives!!!

We enjoyed the hotel. (It even had a pretty good gift shop with a wide range of sundries, something not every tourist hotel offers.) We'd certainly consider it on a return visit to the Dead Sea. However, there certainly were some classier looking ones on the strip we'd be more likely to try first.
