“Oasis in the desert”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2012 via mobile

Javing travelled all day in the heat it was nice to arrive at the hotel and be greeted by such a friendless person, her name I have forgotten. A cool drink and biscuit on arrival was great, thank you. The room was clean with a view of the dead sea but room was a little tired and a revamp would be good. So much food to choose from for dinner and the free bar was much appreciated. A short walk to the float in the dead sea was just amazing and free towels from the hotel were provided. If I were fortunate enough to visit again I would stay here.

You will be overwhelmed by the breakfast and dinner buffets. There is too much food to eat it all, but you can certainly try. Evening meals include beer and / or wine. Before eating you can have a relaxing massage at the spa, but you can't schedule it for after dinner because the spa closes at 6:00 in the evening.

Rooms are not well manicured, or if I were not politically correct I could just say they are dirty. The shuttle driver to the Dead Sea seemed to be on a suicide mission, but fortunately he did not succeed.

Front desk service is friendly but painfully slow.

The view from the hotel is breathtaking.

Our room was clean and large, but in hallways, lobby and pool areas it was dirty. Dirty dishes were piled up in the 6th floor water fountain for two days, trash was thrown in the hallway, a drink was spilled and not cleaned up on the marble steps prior to entering the dining room becoming an extreme hazard and food on the floor was not picked up. Pool area was littered with plastic drinking glasses. Management needs to train their staff better!

Room Tip: choose away from the pool area

We usually stay here once a year and it seems to be improving each time we come back. The management has a commitment to improve services and it shows. We both had the best massages that we have ever had. We are looking forward to coming back again.

What a beautiful hotel!!! The food is great and the staff is par excellence!!!! I highly recommend it!
The room was nice, and the service was out of this world.

Room Tip: Room 321 was a wise choice!

It was my forth stay in this hotel, but , I would think, the last one. This hotel was sold to the different owner and seems, that proper service, good food, and entertainment at night- all dissappeared forewer. Service was generally poor regardless of where you are in the hotel: restaurant or spa, reception or bar. Food was really bad, getting a cup of tea was a problem. There were no towels in the spa, and staff there was incredibly rude. Shuttle bus driver was trying to extort money for services he has to provide for free, beside the fact that shuttle was never on time. Rooms are very dirty and cold. I had to change rooms because in first one you could hear wind howling. Mold everywhere in bathroom, trays with cups are so dirty, it is better not to touch them. I will never stay in this hotel again.

spent 2 nights at the hotel. The food was terrific and the service in the dining room outstanding. Room was clean but a little old. We had a room on the fifth floor above the terrace for the bar on the main floor. Because it's a all included hotel, the beer and wine are free and unforunately the noise from the people on the terrace continued well past 2:00 am and was very disturbing. Called the desk but to no avail. Suggest you get room away from bar terrace side of the hotel(south side of hotel)
