“Winter Wine Week with the Polar Passport - excellent!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2012

After visiting the east shore of Seneca Lake in the Fall, we decided on this trip to visit the west shore of Seneca Lake and its wonderful wineries. A few of our favorites were Fox Ruby Vixen, and Lemberger were great, Torrey Ridge and Earle Estates (which had amazingly wonderful mead - if you have never tried mead, enlighten yourself here with some Strawberry Shadows or Black Jewel). Anthony Road was an excellent destination for Riesling on this shore. Glenora had many great wines, a favorite being their Peach Spumante. Definitely a great trail to explore, Riesling Country is at its finest here, as well as some other local wines that are simply delicious. Each place had very friendly, knowledgable staff that are more than happy to share their experiences and love of wine with you. Pack a picnic, and plan a day of wine on Seneca Lake!

“The wine is pretty bad.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2012

I'm a red wine lover and the reds are not what NY is known for. These are all micro-wineries. I'd never done a wine trail before, but this was not an experience I want to repeat. Too many people. Too loud. Bad wine.

“The Best of the Finger Lakes Wine Trails”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2012

Jam packed with wineries - and all of the wineries have great gift shops, most have restaurants, all have great people and loads of fun. If you're looking for diversity of flavors and a fun day, this is the one to start with!
