“Wonderful part of Towns History”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012

So interesting, but such a pity so run down.So many treasures so neglected. A surprise to see an Austin Princess in garage, beautiful old car. If they want to do well out of tourist industry they need to smarten the place up,Worth a visit though

“Finally the Sultans”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2012

This is what Zanzibar is all about. I kept waiting to hear about the Sultans. This tour was so much fun. Our guide was terrifiic, so knowledgeable and friendly. It was fascinating to hear about the different sultans and their wives, concubines and children. The furniture was authentic, and the older furniture wore better than the newer furniture. It was sorry to see the state of the graveyard, but there was a man watching over them. Well worth a tip to the guide to take in this amazing building.

“Take the tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2012

Fascinating stories of a lost world. They are still using the location for meetings, weddings, dinners and shows. If offered do not miss it.
