Located in the center of town with a small garden area.
The smell of Ethiopian Incense fills the air.
Towels & bowls are offered to wash your hands
Different curry like dishes are served on a huge pancake like bread.
This is placed in the middle with everybody sharing.
The bread is light, with a hint of lemon, making it a wonderful companion to the meat dishes.
For drinks it´s best to order a fruit juice:
It arrives looking amazing. 3 layers of different taste!
The coffee can be ordered as a ceremony (which we did not)
But even the normal coffee was great in taste and traditionally served with popcorn - a surprising but great combination!
Downside: Waited rather long - as everywhere on Zanzibar for the food.
Pricing: A place I´d visit everyday - if it was not for the pricing
