“Wonderful place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2013

Wonderful place indeed! Lots of different kind of coffee for the coffee-person. I personally enjoyed Zanzibar spiced tea the most! Ladies who work there shine with positive energy, they seem to have something to be happy about all the time! :) One of the must-see's of Stone Town!

“The friendliest coffee shop in town”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

Its the staff that really make this place. Been here several times and always happy with the great big friendly welcome one gets. One feels that you are visiting friends when one comes here. its a small venue with few tables but worth visiting if you can as its also not easy to find, most people seem to just stumble upon the place. Freshly baked cakes and muffins supplement a menu made up mostly of filled pancake dishes. The date and cheese one is interesting and quite tasty. The coffee served is good and correctly brewed and served with little home made bite sized cookies. (of which you can have as many as you like) Ground coffee or coffee beans are also for sale in retail packs along with glass or steel coffee presses. Upstairs they run a guest house although i have not stayed there.

“Worth the visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

Really good coffee, especially the spiced coffee. The snacks are quite nice, as well. Great atmosphere. A bit pricey but worth the visit.
