we descoverd this tearoom belong to the House of Spices restaurant by a fortunate case.
It is cozy, very tastefully decorated, however, it is nothing compared to what they offer inside.
We have had an amazing helzemut chocolate salami coming along with spiced sauce, ice clove tea and a fresh juice.

House of spices is a great place to watch the sunset over stone town and enjoy your meal. The prices were reasonable and food was pretty good.
We had our lunch at the House of Spices (seafood platter) and it was absolutely great.
My wife had seafood curry and again great. Well done!
On our way out, our waiter Rama took us to the newly open tearoom these people have at the back of the House and another good suprise: fresh pastry, iced spices teas.A very teasing end of our Zanzibar journey.

Had there ravioli with saffron sauce and can highly recommend it. Partner ate pizza, sails it was good also . We got there early and most table were reserved so make reservations if can.
Great view over town from this roof top restaurant. Service rather slow but hors d'oeuvres excellent . Very convenient walk for guests staying at Zanzibar Coffee House, right around corner.

Really good atmosphere up on the rooftop, the service was very good and the food was brilliant! Some of the best pasta I have ever had, and certainly one of the best meals I have had in Africa.
