My wife and I travelled to Zanzibar in December 2009. We were there for only 4 days, so we wanted to maximise our time there. Prior to leaving I arranged 5 tours with 'Eco and Culture Tours' located in Stone Town. We arranged these via email and the process was very quick and easy.

I must say we were very impressed with the service from manager Robert and our guide Mussa. The guys were very friendly and helpful. All our tours went smoothly with Mussa meeting us at our hotel in Stonetown for each tour for pickup and return as well.

The tours were great. We did the:

City Tour - we did this on the 1st day and was a great introduction to Stonetown
Prison Island Tour - included snorkelling and Tortoises on the island!
Spice Tour - lots of fun and a lovely lunch
Jozani Tour - colobus monkeys!
Dhow Sunset cruise - a wonderful way to finish the day

All were a little different and gave us a good taste of what Zanzibar has to offer.

I highly recommend using the services of 'Eco and Culture Tours' if you are travelling to
Zanzibar. The tours were great value too. Just compare and you will see.

We left with very happy memories of Zanzibar and 'Eco and Culture Tours'!

I travelled to Tanzania and as it was my first time travelling to Africa, I thought it would be safer and easier to get someone to organise things for me before I leave.

Robert and his team at the Eco & Culture Tours were awesome! I managed to get myself a personalised itinerary with safari in the Northern circuit, trip to Stone Town and Dar es Salaam; transport and tours all organised via email. The price is very reasonable too - comparable to the local prices you'll get when you reach there.

As I was busy with a volunteer programme while I was there, getting everything sorted out for my weekend and last week of travelling was great!

I would definitely recommend this company if you are travelling to Tanzania.

Me and my girlfried founded Art and Culture by Lonely planet. We contacted them befoure the trip to Tanzania by e-mail and aftre we met them in their office in the heart of Stone Town.
The Agency is seample but the service is very good.
They arranged for us the plain ticket Zanzibar-Arusha- Arusha-Zanzibar. One day in lake Manyara included the night in a wonderfull lodge ( Lake Manyare wild life lodge) and one day in Ngorongoro. Everything was perfect....
